Creativity is a very important trait to have, especially when it comes to young children. When children are young, they begin to adopt various values, traditions, and ideas from everyone and everything surrounding them. Creativity is one very crucial value that children should adopt from an early age. Being a creative individual allows a child to have more joy, opportunities, and ways to express himself or herself. At such a young age, however, children often do not understand where to begin with their creativity. This is why it is a caretakers role to make creativity goals for young children.

Making creativity goals for young children may sound like an odd task, but it is actually quite enjoyable and fun for everyone involved. Setting smalls goals allows a child to have some structure, while at the same time allowing them to grow as creative individuals. These goals could be as simple as having an “art day” once a week with a child, and allowing them to paint, color, or draw whatever they desire. Making this a weekly goal gives a child something to look forward to, and they get to enjoy expressing themselves through whatever creative medium is presented to them.

Car rides can become tedious and boring but they don’t have to be. Take a little time to gather some items to keep passengers entertained during trips.

What kind of items are great for busting boredom during drives? That all depends upon the passengers. If you have young children, a bag full of picture story books, coloring books, crayons, small toys and the like will be sufficient. For older kids, choose activity books, notebooks for doodling, colored pencils, small hand games and such will work well.I was looking for more information and found it here. For older passengers, assorted magazines, crossword or brain puzzle books will provide entertainment.

For longer car rides, books on tape or CD are great choices for keeping everyone entertained. How about some audio language tapes or CD’s or other learning programs? Comedy routines can also be found on tape or CD to listen to as you drive but be sure that whatever you choose is appropriate for the audiences who will be traveling with you.

Small hand games or activities that are age appropriate are always good choices for travel entertainment. Children enjoy creating pictures with stickers so include notebooks of plain paper and assorted stickers to keep kids entertained.

Put all items in a tote bag or a plastic box to keep everything organized and expect your passengers to enjoy the ride.

Families are held together by traditions as well as by blood. Traditions share the past with the next generation and gives them an insight into family history. Traditions may be foods prepared from a family recipe, fixed only for particular celebrations.

Often the younger generation tries to leave behind family traditions. However, leaving behind positive family traditions deprives your children of their history. Consider the traditions with which you grew up that left you with a wealth of good memories that make you smile every time your mind goes back to those times.I was looking for more information and found it here. Even if you tweak or update the tradition for your children, start by sharing your positive memories. As a family recreate the tradition in a way that fits best with your situation. Sharing memories builds on tradition.

Start new traditions. Traditions build excitement and anticipation, along with family togetherness. Birthdays and holidays are good times to start family traditions. Plan the celebrations and keep track of what worked and what didn’t. The next year, build on what worked.

It doesn’t take all that long before the family considers something done regularly traditional, whether that something is a food, decorations, a game played or even discussion at family dinner.

Getting the Whole Family Involved in The Creation Process

Children are intuitively creative. As soon as they are old enough to understand, let them become involved in the different creative process that involve the family. This might choosing meal menus or learning how to prepare food in the kitchen. Families who work together on meal and dessert planning and preparation have a vested interested in the result and are less likely to complain about what is on their plate.

Decorating a room or the house, putting in a garden or planning a vacation can become fun, learning experiences that encourage each family member to use his or her imagination and creativity.Didn’t catch that? This explains it.

Since the entire family lives in the house, the children will have ideas on how to redecorate their rooms, the living room or even the kitchen. Explain the parameters of the project and encourage children to come up with color schemes and decorating ideas. Incorporate the creative efforts of the children in the room decoration with a picture display on the wall, a sculpture for the piano or pillows for the couch.

The family can learn a craft together, such as creating a blanket, pillows or making a memory family keepsake book of a special celebration or vacation.

Giving creative gifts is a sincere, personalized, and kind way to show someone that you care about them. In addition to that, creative gifts allow a person to use their crafty skills to make something special. Creating gifts is not only more personal, but also more affordable. The only downside to creating gifts is taking the first step – figuring out what to create!

One great, fun, and practical gift is creating thank you notes and stationary as a gift. This gift is practical because the average person will use stationary or write a thank you note at some time or another. In addition to that, these kind of gifts can be customized to fit anyone’s taste and preferences. Stationary and thank you notes make the perfect gift for any age group, including children and teenagers. Customizing the gift to suit any age group is very easy.

Stationary and thank you notes can be purchased, but they can also easily be handmade or created using templates on any basic computer design program. These programs are also free if they come with the computer software. Craft supplies to create these gifts are also very inexpensive. No matter who the gift giver or recipient may be, stationary and thank you notes make perfect gifts.
